CareAssist Program Overview
CareAssist is a care management program designed to positively impact clinical and financial outcomes for maternity, complex newborns and pediatrics. The program improves outcomes by creating a care management plan at the point of referral and providing continuity throughout the episode of care.
Our multi-disciplinary expert team focuses on resolving key issues that impede a patient's progress, while accelerating care when appropriate and offering innovative evidence-based solutions. And, we assure family preparedness through education and involvement in decision making. Lastly, we conduct a financial claim review on every case.
CareAssist has consistently achieved a 15% reduction in NICU length of stay, providing a 3:1 ROI. During 2010, we achieved a 17.7% reduction in NICU length of stay.
The program can be customized to meet each payer's care management requirements, including referral criteria, resource allocation, communication and reporting, private labeling, outcome measures, and pricing.
